in 1976 I think, being thirteen-year-old, I heard for the first time Black Sabbath. Since then I knew, what was the music I like. Nearly nobody I knew could understand that I loved that 'noise'. One asked me if I think, that my taste is o.k.??? What a question.
Have I really got to say that my taste is the right taste.
Later I regarded the way MANOWAR took. Yes, they were on the right way. And they are even on it, not looking what do the others do. I love them for doing their thing and most for the way they are treating their fans. They are doing the things right!!!!!!

I grew up in a real one-dog town not knowing that something like Heavy Metal exists at all. I was really disappointed about the music you hear at tv and radio. it was all so simple and boring. When I was 12 years old a friend of mine made me listen to Manowar. From the first moment I felt home. It was not only about being entertained by music. It was not about a good looking band or an image. It was just reaching me deeply and made me a way stronger person. Manowar for me means to be myself... to dare being myself... and to make the best of who I am and what I can be. Manowar helped me not to give up... no matter if it's about school or studys or about that my dad died two years ago what nearly destroyed me... there is one thing I can rely on all my life: I can put on my headphones and feel the KINGS OF METAL by my side... lucky me!

I'm a huge Manowarfan since about 5 or 6 years now. A friend of mine gave me a CD with songs from different bands on it. But only one band really caught my interest - Manowar.

A few days later I bought Fighting the World, and from this moment on Manowar has been with me. They taught me to HAIL all those who got the right spirit, who are ready to have some fun and a good time, and they taught me to KILL (figurative speaking of course) all the false ones who try to put us down!

I live in wonderful Hessen….

I’ve  listening to Manowar for 4 - 5 years – I don’t remember the exact date.

My cousin gave me a CD with a lot of Metal Bands. I listened to all the tracks and there was one from a band called Manowar.

The song was “Brothers of Metal” and it kicked my ass. That was my first experience with Manowar. After 2 or 3 weeks I bought myself the Album Warriors Of The World and this Album changed my life.

So, Brothers and Sisters stay heavy….

Manowar is not only a Band, it is the way you live your life.

Eric has a great voice, it is not only screaming like other Metal Bands do.
But a very important thing for me are the Members from the House of Death, they think what I think (most of the time :-) and if you have no real family like me, then you’ll find many Brothers and Sisters there.

Hail Warriors of the World!

My name is Lars Hauser and i'm from Dortmund (Germany). Right now I'm 31 years old (born 1977) and i have two children. I've got to know of Manowar by a schoolmate who's older brother had a very good collection of heavy metal lps. I never forget these days we were sitting in his big brothers room (hoping he's not coming back to soon and seeing us using is stereo, which would have hurt) and listening to the stunning sound of Manowar. We also often used to play fantasy table top games, with Manowar in the background.

I've changed my music taste a lot, bounced from one extreme to another, but one of the LPs i was always listening to was Fighting the World. Many years later Udo joined my shift on "the job" and he kind of revived my enthusiasm for manowar. Until that time i've never seen Manowar on stage and didn't know anything about the great and awesome community of fans that Manowar has. I'm very excitingly looking forward for my first visit of the Magic Circle Festival.

Another fact i love Manowar for is, that they are what you can call a classical Heavy Metal Band. They don't mind what everyone else is thinking about them or their music - they stay true and straight. That's in fact a very important thing for me personally. I'll quote another - well very different musician here, that made the point: If a man has not himself, what has he got? Thats what Manowars music is all about: stay true to yourself, hold the course.

I will remember it always!!! MANOWARs music gives me the POWER to come through every f**king day! It makes me strong!!! I am proud to be a part of the best family there ever could be!!!!! When I listen to ManOwaR I no longer feel sad! This music gives me the energy to be happy! And this feeling grew and is still growing in my heart! Because of that I can say that it’s not only (the best) music for me, no it’s much more: it’s my attitude to live!!!!

Every time when I see the Kings on stage I can’t get enough of them! I can’t get enough of their music, I can’t get enough of the energy they give, and I can’t get enough of all the different fans who became a big family! It’s one of the biggest parts in my life! ...

I always would support ManOwaR! I am always committed to this band, so I lost a few friends who didn’t understand it... and I lost a long relationship.... I only said to him:

My Name is Jürgen, I am 27 years old and I grew up and live in Ulm and Reutlingen, two lovely little towns in the middle of southern Germany.

I think I was 12 or 13 when my friends told me about a band called Manowar and gave me some cassettes with their songs. I´ve never heard a band with such a POWER and STRENGTH in their lyrics and their playing before. From this moment on I became a big fan of Manowar´s music and bought over the years every album, single, dvd and most of their amazing merch to show any other guy, that I am a BROTHER OF METAL and for which band my heart´s pounding.

Today nothing has changed. I live for metal and I love Manowar for their music and for what they have done for metal all over the years and all over the world, even in times some assholes proclaimed metal dead.

Especially the songs defender, call to arms, hail and kill, the crown and the ring and herz aus stahl are my very, very, very favourite ones. But of course all the other epic, powerful and amazing songs are as good as these.
